Forrest Andrew McCormick, 69, of Culpeper died Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at VCU Medical Center from complications of Agent Orange. He was born December 14, 1949 in Youngstown, OH to the late Fred and Faye Richards McCormick.
Mr. McCormick was a veteran of the US Army having served during Vietnam and was stationed in Korea.He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy; sons, Shayne McCormick, Paul Jenkins and Matthew Jenkins and his wife, Jessica; daughters, Tracy Skotis, Donna Essad and Vanessa Cooper; and 16 grandchildren, Carmela, Harley, Bruce, Klarisa, LeAnna, Alaina, Ashley, Matthew Thomas, Emanuel, Robert, J.C., Joshua, Chris, Ashleigh, Devin and Nadia. He is also survived by his brother, Paul McCormick and his wife, Kathy; and numerous nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred and James McCormick; daughter, Paula McAllister; grandsons, Mark McAllister and Leeland Jenkins; granddaughter, Leah Jenkins; and great granddaughter, Isabel Essad.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Mark Cook officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be private at Culpeper National Cemetery.
