Gladys Ford Beahm 4/11/28 - 1/30/14

Gladys Ford Beahm, 85, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at her residence. Born on April 11, 1928, in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late William Harrison Ford and Mozelia Embrey Ford and wife of the late John Henry Beahm. Mrs. Beahm retired from Jefferson National Bank in Madison after 43 years and serving as a manager and she attended Beth Car Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Troy Talbot Beahm and wife, Kim, of Orange; brother, Charles Embrey Ford and wife, Martha, of Aroda; and granddaughter, Amanda Beahm Rosenblatt and husband, Jessie of Charlottesville. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Monday, February 3, 2014, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison, conducted by Pastor Josh Shifflett with interment in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Oak Park. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014, at the funeral home. Troy and Kim wish to express their sincerest thanks and appreciation for Gladys caregivers, who became like extended family over the past several years, Bonnie, Jessica, Barbara, Diane, Wanda, Crystal, Laura, and Amber. We appreciated your dedication, wisdom, compassion, grace and most of all, the love you showed her.
